Detroit – Deception, arrogance, greed, hubris, corruption, incompetence and isolation – seven deadly sins of politics – snared President George W. Bush and his cronies long ago. That is how they get and retain power.
While praying and thumbing their Bibles, hard truth and proclaim their goodness, faith-based Busheviks claim to be chosen and ordained, perform the work of God on earth. In fact and deed, they behave like the devil’s disciples.
Now, with inspired irony, the sins they have served so well is their downfall. George W. Bush and his servants are scorched with fire from the political mess, and they know a hell akan datang. Alone and naked in their sinfulness, they cower in the face of truth and justice. Evil empire is crumbling. Praise God!
Bush’s speechwriters use apocalyptic incantations every time. Words such as “evil” and “hate” roll off his lips with a smirking sense. Forgive me, the style of contracting.
Bush’s war in Iraq, which is cheating, is a failure and the only uncertainty is how much more blood will be shed before the inevitable withdrawal. Now, polls show, only one third of Americans support the war and recognize the most sold Bush lie when he conflated Saddam Hussein of Iraq with al-Qaeda and the September 11 terrorism attacks.
Bush’s plan in March to become the heart of Islam with British allies and then expect democracy to blossom in the Middle East has proven to be one of the most monstrously bad idea in the history of the nation. Aggression that makes us weak in the world.
An advisory panel to the State Department has concluded, “America’s image and reputation abroad difficult can become worse.” Bush’s old friend and former flack, Karen Hughes, just back from a mission to improve the U.S. image in the Muslim world and show them what we really swell folks.
Hughes, now undersecretary of state and responsible for public diplomacy, which makes it the first Middle Eastern business, with the results of the disaster.
Hughes, with no foreign policy experience, make a feeble attempt to comfort to our critics. He activist women in Istanbul how wrenching it was for Bush to decide to invade Iraq.
Hughes to the association “does not like war,” but “to keep the peace sometimes my country believes war is necessary.” Unlike the city’s handpicked White House meeting that usually carry, Turkish women, who do not smile and cheer on cue.
Feray Salman, a human rights advocacy, Hughes stood up and said, “War is not necessary for peace.” Salman scoffed at the idea of imposing democracy through war: “We never, ever export democracy and freedom from one country to another country.”
This week, Bush plans to speak with others to explain how good he was proud to work for Iraq’s vision and how safe is our nation.
Hughes began to show him the way diplomatic in Cairo, where he tried to sell the pipe dreams of Bush to the Middle East. Amateurism him to show him as the Egyptians, “Many people in the world does not understand the important role that faith plays in American life.” Which must be reassuring for the Muslim audience.
Hughes said, “Terrorists, their policies force young people, other people’s women and children, to strap on bombs and blow themselves up.”
Robert Pape, a University of Chicago political scientist who conducted extensive research on the motives of suicide terrorists, says Hughes is way off and a sign that he is really comfortable terrorist travel. Pape to the Guardian’s Sidney Blumenthal, “If you’re determined to help bin Laden, you could not have done so much better than Hughes.”
